Description: Update: Cosmetic and mechanical work done throughout the winter months enhances this car significantly. We don't have a lot of history about this extremely rare and beautiful 80 Series V-12 Convertible Sedan, however we do know this; it was owned by a significant collector who kept it in storage for many years. The gas tank was removed and cleaned and a few adjustments to the points and distributors allowed this big V-12 to roar to life. The car is absolutley original and by the looks of the ultra clean chassis and body we wonder if the odometer reading of just under 24,000 miles is just that! Of course we can not attest to it being the true mileage but every indication is that it might be fact. These are rare cars. They entire series saw only 901 car produced and it is surmised by some authorities that the Convertible Sedan might be the rarest of them all in the series with less than 75 produced. How many are left? We don't know but if you are looking for the likes of this car then you have found a solid and good example to pamper with some TLC and then enjoy. These cars sold for over $3,500 new and the 5 passenger cars ran on a wheelbase of 131 inches and weighed 4,990 pounds! Clean interior, good top, beautiful dash, radio, heater, and more.
